My thoughts on Life
For those who know my blog for a while, it started on a wordpress site with the above title, before I got the ByBurnie.co.za domain…
This is the title to my blog… And now I ask the question…
Why?
This started where God showed me what He wants love to be like… I heard of the term from a guy called Jon Jorgenson, From The Anima Series…
It started with Authentic Love
This is a place where I can think through my life and see what I have learned… and how I can encourage others to not make the same mistakes I made…
Things like rejection and pain many people struggle with… Even Christians reject people who are in a sinful state, forgetting that things like lying and swearing have the exact same weight as murder and homosexuality… Who are we to judge and degrade people for being themselves… Sin is not to be tolerated and should be prayed about how to address them, yet the person should not be rejected… Only the love of Christ can set a man free…
Who Am I is that which I learned from my life which I hope can help others
Revelation is the stuff God started to reveal short after I started to write this…
Some topics I did write about are Psalm 23.
Knowledge, Who needs it? and much more… This is things God laid on my heart to write about…
Then something happened and I wrote about marriage, The Vow…
God revealed a lot about marriage I didn’t initially know…
But as this went on He taught me more about the way He is….
I STARTED SEEING WHAT THE FATHER DID…
Now as you see my blog is not just this or that, it is inspired… But inspiration comes from somewhere…
Now what happened to why…
The background gives you something about the WHO which is behind my blog….
Now why?
I have learned how to teach, and when something starts to irritate me, it means I have to say or do something about it…
In Hosea 4:6 it says:
my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. (NIV)
My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children. (NLT)
Knowledge is power… But for me to learn I need to understand… I need to understand the heart of a father, to understand the heart of God…
I needed to understand what pain is, to explain to people that it is not something we should do to people…
I needed to be confronted with a loveless church, to understand what love ought to be…
My blog is not about me…. It is about God in me, and how he taught me to go on with life…
Yes, I am sometimes caught in the thing where I am caught of guard and hating myself and being negative… (And I ask that you pray for me in this for breakthrough continually) BUT this did not disqualify me from who God made me… And that God chose me to do something great…
But nowadays the blog is a way for me to reach the lost… If I teach, I teach what I see The Father doing…
I strive to be more like God… And I begin to know what it means to experience emotions.
I learnt what it means to really love myself… And not strive to be something I am not, even if my friends expect it of me… I am not going to allow people to dictate my life… I am going to let God BE LORD OF IT…. People do hurt me… BUT GOD HEALS ME…. People do reject me… GOD HAS ACCEPTED ME… People want me to be more like their perfect picture of a person… GOD SAID THAT WE WERE MADE PERFECT… BROKEN PEOPLE ARE PERFECT… FOR THEY CAN HELP… NO ONE CAN FIX ANOTHER, AD NO ONE CAN ACTUALLY HELP ANOTHER ONLY GOD CAN…
But then there is more we are here for a reason… God made everyone awesome…. And shows me how to love on another level…
Now this does not seem correct to everyone… But that is fine… God has sent my blog globally to 33 regions thus far… reaching areas where man are afraid to go to….
THE REASON FOR MY BLOG IS TO TELL THE WORLD WHAT GOD HAS BEEN SHARING WITH ME… AND A WAY FOR ME TO LEARN WHO GOD IS… AND BECOME MORE ACQUAINTED WITH HIM…
For God so loved the world,that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him (John 3:16-17 ESV)
