Hey I am Burnie…
So why do I write this blog?
When I originally started to write, I didn’t have any liking in writing… I sucked at it while in high school…
Yet I had to be obedient when God spoke…
I had learned a few things I didn’t know, and God said that it is not just for the immediate people but for everyone… I got ready and started to write… I am not writing to get sympathy or praise, although I do write some of my biggest challenges and some of my greatest victories… I WRITE BECAUSE GOD SPOKE AND HE WANTS TO SAY SOMETHING…
When it comes to church and church politics, I get fairly irritated, since there is way to my conflict…
When it comes to Christianity, I get upset… I do not see much of God in many of the believers…
When it comes to those who are in need, MY HEART BREAKS… Since I see God meet them where they are and fill those needs…
My aim is not to attack anyone… I am still learning myself, growing myself… But in everything I am seeking to become more like Christ…
In this journey I find that I think differently about certain things, and in other cases I think about things I would never have thoughts about…
I am not married, I am not a theologian or a pastor… I am not perfect at all, but God gave me the ability to talk about the topics, so that I can make a difference…
I have a struggle with depression and self-worth, but as I grow closer to God I learn that these are not stumbling blocks, but stepping stones to become closer to God… I know God made me perfect and I was made to be part of a royal priesthood…
I just sometimes need to remind myself about this…
I believe in encouraging people, even though I might mess up, and even though I might not have anything to do or say to fix a situation…
My views on Christ is set… I do not think any man has the right to question it, yet they may ask and challenge me about it….
Every second of the day is a moment in which I am able to teach people…
I am not in the routine of blogging daily, weekly or even monthly, but more to the routine of when God has something to say…
