It has been quite a while since I last posted to my blog… Have been thinking of starting up again, but due to being busy, and not making the time, I have not gotten to it…

In the last month I had the privilege to get to know a young lady, and spent some time with her… And earlier this week she mentioned why she enjoys hanging out with me too…
Basically it was because of my belief that one person can make a difference, and I am trying… But what does this mean? And why do I write this blog post then…
The reason for my belief…
So I decided to do things way differently… But why?
I look at what the world is busy spewing and it does scare me… And in that, I decided to become “Jesus to the person in front of me…”
Now before you lose yourself in thinking I am trying to be the Jesus that died for us all, KNOW that I am never able to be Him… But I can be like Him for at least one person… And that is what I did…
I go to a shop, see a person in pain, and I approach to pray for them… I go the fuel station, see a hungry person and give food (if it is in my means to do it…)
We need to learn that, on our own, we can not help everyone… But we can help someone…
This is the importance of my lifestyle… Reach one person at a time… Have a relationship with people, who needs to know God loves them… Spend time with them, go and be where they are…
But this is still not the reason for my belief… This is but my belief…
So let me get into the reason for it then…
I look at the Bible, and many question arise to why the church is different from HOW Jesus portrayed a life following God…
Back in the day I wrote a blog, What do you see the Father do?. The main thing is that we tend to do what we like and avoid what we dislike… But when we look at the way the Father is portrayed by Jesus, it was sometimes, not always, things Jesus did not like…
The reason this is important, is because in the end, when we follow Christ, we see a little bit of the Father flow through our lives… And this flowing of the Father, that is the thing I call, being Jesus for someone else…
What makes this different from everyday life? Well, simply put, everyday life gets mundane and boring, we lose will to continue and then we run into trouble… This was me quite recently…
The opposite is also true… That if we allow the Father to flow through us, we are also able to stay rejuvenated, being filled constantly, growing constantly and being a change, a force, the world has yet to see….
As John F. Kennedy once said:
Lifestyle or Acting…
What does this look like in the real world? This is an important question…
I have been living this life for a few years… And I keep learning new things…
So some characteristics of a lifestyle are:
Growth
Trusting God
Learning to hear His Voice daily
Being available
Being ready and Willing…
What does this then mean? Is it about just being there for everyone? No… Well, a resounding NO… The idea is to be in the area God has intended for you to be… This mean in the long term that you will see God move where you are at…
For me, I go to a game shop in town… At this game shop I am playing card games, and even Dungeons and Dragons… How does this fit into my lifestyle? Well, I end up being there for a lot of the people in the shop… And ALL I do is be Jesus for the person in front of me… This is where it is important… It is not about me.. Every game i play is about getting to know someone, every conversation is learning… Every part of my time there is about making sure God is represented well… It is important to me, because IF I do not do this, WHO WILL?
It may be at a thing where we move to reach the homeless and give them everyday essentials as well as giving then the opportunity to meet Christ… Or is may be random person who walks into a game shop, and get healing for a chronic pain that was untreatable… This is what I live by and what I see…
The actors of this world is speaking the right words… But the actions are lacking… Living from love a matter of saying something and walking away, and never returning to the scene to check back… It is something where we speak on a Sunday about everything we believe and do, but in the week there is absolutely nothing… It is like a dead tree, unable to bear any fruit…
But the actors, they will always fall away, as there is no substance… While those who choose to live this as a life, they will grow and see God at work…
The purpose of this post…
The purpose of this post is not to give anyone a hard time… It is to encourage every person to know that there is a better way… A way that requires us to live from inside to outside…
I wrote a post a while ago, Martha vs. Mary Mentality, in which I came to the conclusion that we first need to be a Mary, someone at the feet of Jesus, before we can be Martha, someone who does the work… It was ONLY ON THAT DAY that Mary chose right… Any other day, it could have been Martha…

We need to learn to love this way… First from a relationship with God, and then to a relationship with others…
I will also look into some more posts on this topic, looking into into the life of people like Jesus and Paul… As well as some current day examples of people changing the world as well… Because ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE… And no one can stop that…
I hope that you see God in the everyday life… And that you will see how God is using you to make a difference in the world around you… As this is what God has intended for us to do from the start…
God bless…
