I AM AN INTERCESSOR…

What does this mean?

According to dictionary.com an intercessor is “a person who intercedes.“

Now what does it mean to intercede?

According to lexico.com means to “intervene on behalf of another.“

What is the first thing we normally think about when hearing intercessor prayer meeting or even when you saw this blog.

Am I not showing what we normally thinking of? Now this is only if we had no idea what intercession means…

I had a vision a few years ago that changed the way I looked at what intercession it…

“The vision started with a guy walking around with no idea what is going on around him… While there was an enemy who was shooting arrows at this person, he was unaware and powerless to stop it…  This progressed a lot and the person was to injured, yet unable to do anything or even to dodge… Now at this point a guy armed with the full set of armor, somewhat like the picture below… Now when this soldier stepped in, it was like shield appeared around the person who got shot earlier… EVERY ARROW GOT DEFLECTED AND THE PERSON HAD TIME TO HEAL, WHILE BEING PROTECTED”

Now to be sure you understand, no man has ever been able to be so strong that he will not be tempted or even discouraged in some way… I AM SAYING THIS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING…  Matt 4:1-11 says Jesus went into the wilderness to be tempted… Now I get tempted a lot and in various forms… but the fight still is the same…

As intercessors we have the privilege to fight on behalf of those who can not defend themselves… As I am writing this I am experiencing major attack because of what I would LIKE TO ASK… We are not intercessors because we need to hide in a corner until the fight is over… WE ARE THE FRONT LINE GOD PLACED THERE, so that those who are not able to fight can be protected…

I basically already said what intercession is, but to recap… Intercession in the action of intervening on behalf of another.

Now why am I saying all of this… I am not trying to provoke people into understanding what I am…

THIS IS WHY I SAY THIS:

As an intercessor, we are bound to God, NOT MAN… Also we are not bound to a church… How can I say this? This SOUNDS like I am saying we do not belong to a church…. This is not the case though… I applaud those who are part of a church intercession team and know what they are doing, God opens doors for intercessors… NOW what I meant: We are not to be just part of the church’s intercession team, BUT WE ARE PART OF GOD’S INTERCESSION TEAM.

Am I off my rocker? Am I going nuts or insane? NOT AT ALL… I am a musician…. love the arts… and love music… In the last bit I realized I am missing in action on the stuff that really matter…. God did not put intercession as part of a church but as part of the BODY… We are not letting God take over….

Now think of the thing that makes you tick, be it music, art, sport or cooking? How is God represented in that in real life, NOT JUST IN THE CHURCH OR HOME, but in the world? Music proclaims themselves as God hating…. And even indoctrinates children into this scandalous way of life… We may pray for every area of life… Ask God where HE wants you to pray and where HE wants you to focus your prayers. Not saying never go to church again… But as intercessors, We stand in the gap, AND SOMETIMES THAT GAP IS NOT JUST FOR CHURCH BUT FOR EVERYONE… Our children needs hope, IF WE DO NOT STAND AND FIGHT, WHO WILL?

NOW INTERCESSORS FROM EVERYWHERE, I BEG OF YOU LET US ALL UNITE IN FIGHTING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION… SHOWING THEM THAT THERE IS SOMETHING TO STAND FOR…

WE ARE ABLE TO BUILD THIS WORLD ON PRAYER AND PRAISE…
