A while ago I posted the post “Intercessors Unite“.
Now I am asking every intercessor who feels to, to pray with me for Potchefstroom. I am currently an occupant in Potchefstroom, and lately I am seeing false teachers and prophets rise up. This bothers me a lot and I am taking my stand here where I live. I am not going to wait for the everyone to say there is nothing wrong anymore, just for them to realize there is something wrong. I am going to say this as it is…
- I know some people who say they are christians, but have no relationship with Christ.. I ask that we pray that God will reveal Himself to these so that they know Christ as there personal Lord and Savior.
- There are people who are in charge of multiple churches and “God-Centered” Organizations, whom is teaching false truths. I ask that you pray with me for these leaders to have an personal encounter with Christ. And that Christ will lead them to a place where they will know the truth that Christ reveals to them as the real truth, not just someones opinion of the truth.
- In the Potchefstroom region I am realizing more and more that there is a stronghold of the spirit of mammon, the spirit of the lust for money, which is keeping people trapped. With this I am not referring to the normal day-to-day expenses, but the urge to have way to much money, and using it for the wrong reasons. I ask that we pray that people have the strength to ask God for freedom from this spirit… For it is written that man can not serve two masters, man can not serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)
- There is also a strong spirit of religion in Potchefstroom. This are those people believe they must perform to get in heaven. I ask to also pray with me that the people understand that deeds must be an out-flowing of their faith. (Hebrews 11:6)
- I ask that you pray for the people to have a strong gift of discernment of spirits, so they may know what is true and what is false.
