What is our identity?
When I first heard this audio, I felt God show me some truth about who we are, some truth about what our identity is…
This says that we are kings and queens… So what does this mean?
Our past experiences may cause us to feel like we lost who we are… But did it really change who we are? Is this how easy our identity can be affected? Our pasts can not change who we are, our God given identity. It may change some of our thinking and some of the ideas we had, may have changed, but our identity is something that is always based on what God says about us…
How would you treat a king or queen? Or better yet, how would you like to be treated, as a king of queen? We all have the identity of a KING or QUEEN in us.
Identity in action
So how can we then, as kings and queens, change, that people feel welcome around us? In Godless Generation – An Authentic Love Journey, I mentioned about a concept of Authentic Love. This is the only way we can see out surroundings change. This is the only way we can change the way people see themselves.
I have to confess, I am struggling a lot with letting people in… And I do not know if I will be able to let people in… In my past, when I let people in, after they left, I was left in pieces… These days I do not just let people in. I do not know how to let people in at the moment… This is since I normally feel judged by those around me, and I get hurt… I know I am a King, yet I always feel like people think I am worthless. And in some cases people have said it to me too…
YES, I AM A KING. GOD LOVES ME, AND HE MADE ME. SO HERE IS WHAT I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SOMEONE, PLEASE BE CAREFUL ON HOW YOU SPEAK ABOUT PEOPLE AND HOW YOU TREAT THEM. We are all canvases of the Lord Almighty and the Greatest Artist of all time.
