Where does Authentic Love start…
Who are we?
So why do we do anything in our life? In our work and school, day-to-day duties and the rules we have to follow, why do we do this? What is our motivation for doing these? How do we approach life?
This is something I started to think about in the last few days… What does it mean to live a life of AUTHENTIC LOVE?
How do we approach work or school? Just as a job/school? Just as something I need to get done? OR is it a place where I can represent Christ? We need to get to a place where we will show people God loves them…
Why are certain rules in place? What is the motivation behind them? Why are the commandments in the Bible? When we see that many rules are there to protect us, we can also love people in the midst of these rules. We should not see rules as wall to keep us away from people, but as a protection in which we can safely engage with people.
Everything we do has a decision involved. We decide how we will approach what we do. Will it depress us? Or will it give us life? We can do everything required in a normal day, yet is this all there is?
Are we going to follow every rule, just go to work or school and just do the basics, and allow everything else to fall apart? I am hoping to give clarity on how we live our lives, but live it in a way we can love authentically…
This is part of the reason why I started to write this blog… This is where my journey starts into discovering what Authentic Love is, the LOVE that compels us to love without limitations…
