Good day, I am starting to write once again… In the last year I started to do a VLOG and photography, however the year 2016 was set apart by God as a year of recovery. That said, He released me, and now I am tackling some of the things I picked up in the last year. I might expand on some of my VLOG topics as well. Let me start with the topic of this post.
The God that Loves? I believe God is love, and thus that He is able to love us UNCONDITIONALLY.
But if God is love, how can He hate what we do?
PERFECT LOVE IS GOING TO HATE…
Let me explain it this way. Say you love life, would you not hate everything that stand against life? The reason God hates abortions and murder, is because it stands against everything He created. He created life, and abortion and murder steals what He created.
I cannot say whether your belief system is accurate or not, nor am i trying to dictate it. However due to my standard being the standard that God puts down, I am able to see in your lifestyle whether or not you have the same belief system. The standard that God set, is a standard which is universal, and no one can deviate from His standard and say it is still His standard. I love people, and I love seeing people growing closer to THE ONLY GOD, WHO ACTUALLY WANTS TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH US… I am a Christian because God freed me from my past, and He gives me the guidance I need, exactly when I need it… And MY GOD IS REAL… My question to you is, Do you want to know a God who cares about your well-being?
This is now my second year after a big move to a town called George. The one thing that God wanted me to do in the last year was to rest. This helped me, and I am renewed and restrengthened. We may say God hates us because of a certain thing we love, THAT GOD HATES. YET let me get something straight right now… God hates sin, not people… Sin condemns a man to hell, since God cannot stand the sight of sin.
ARE SOME SINS GREATER THAT OTHERS?
IN SHORT: NO,
IN LONG: NO, because Jesus set a new standard, when He came to earth. How about this. HATE = MURDER, LUST = ADULTERY (Read Matt 5)
How about this, love your enemy? Does anyone make you so angry that you wish he/she would end up in hell and you refuse to pray for them? (Read Matt 5). Yes this is also sin, since God loved even a prostitute and tax collector and thief… We think we are special because we do everything right, God thinks that even our greatest actions ARE LIKE FILTHY RAGS. (read Isaiah 64) Why does He find our actions so worthless? BECAUSE OUR ACTIONS ARE CONNECTED TO WHAT WE WANT… We are nice to people who are smarter than us so they can help us, we are nice to popular people because we want to be part of the popular group… We give our work to the lazy because they are the ones that can help us get popular or we like them and this is what we hope we will get when we give them our work to copy…
As you may see I have some stuff to say. So let me end this post on the following note.
ARE WE GOING TO SEEK THE APPROVAL OF MEN OR OF GOD?
If we want to be approved by God, be ready… God has a standard, and I believe that this is the time when this will start to have an impact. God is waiting for a generation that loves Him and does not do Christianity as a popularity contest.
Let me explain the popularity contest that I see in churches nowadays. I see a group of people who try to do exactly what is “expected” of them… This then gives them a bit of popularity in the eyes of those who see them… They become the talk of the town in this regard, yet God in not glorified in many of these cases. The Bible speaks of DYING TO YOURSELF. This does entail that we give up everything, AND LET GOD REIGN IN TOTALITY. If God is not GLORIFIED, then I do not believe that GOD WAS THERE AT ALL. (Colossians 3)
Do take the following into consideration, and I had to learn this with experience. We do not truly love if our hatred of something hurts someone. However, we do not have to agree on what another is doing, but we do have to keep our head clear and love them the same way we want others to love us… WE ALSO HAVE OUR SIN… WHETHER IT’S LYING, CHEATING, STEALING, PRIDE, LUST, … (this list can go on). Pushing another away because of their sin, must also open the door to know that the same should be done towards us.
Depression is not something that should bring separation, but a strength in a unity where people stand together and build each other up. Pushing someone away gives them a reason to not deal with depression. I was there, and the only way I could ever deal with it was to have people speak into my life quite frequently…
LET US STOP HATING ONE ANOTHER FOR SINS, WHICH WE HAVE OUR OWN MULTITUDE OFF… SINS SHOULD NOT BE THE REASON FOR DIVISION, BUT THE REASON WE UNITE IN CHRIST AGAIN… GOD DID NOT PUSH AWAY THE SINNERS, HE EMBRACED THEM, AND THIS IS HOW PEOPLE CHANGED…
