If you could choose to leave a legacy behind, what would you want the world to remember… Your Good or your bad?
Do you have a choice in the matter?
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the LORD your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them (Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NASB)
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21 NIV)
So if we have a choice, why do we choose evil and death the whole time…

I already hear someone saying:
“You can’t say this, we try our best to choose life… To do what is good”
How about your words? How about your attitude?
“Your attitude is like the aroma of your hearts” – Facing The Giants
Out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks. – Dutch Proverb
A good person produces good from the good treasure of his heart, and an evil person produces evil from an evil treasure, because the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.” (Luke 6:45 ISV)
NOW HOW DOES THIS TIE INTO “MY RESOLUTION”
Chapter 2 of this book it titled: “A LIFELONG VISION OF FATHERHOOD”
It talks about a father and his son… And what God showed someone about this father and son…
What role did your father play?
In this chapter of the book both sides were revealed to to writers, or the person who saw this…
Here is the first… an oldish man found in a room… This was a man who push God away… He was fatherless…. He was hopeless…. He didn’t want to use the opportunities that he got, because he hated God… He made orphans of his children, by running away…
Here is the other side to this…
His father chose God, instead of rebelling against God… He set the bar, began to love for Christ, honoring his wife and teaching his son to be the best he could ever be… Encouraging the son to be great… The son became a man of God, standing for what is right in all situations… Becoming a mighty man and a leader in his community… Investing in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren… Leaving a Godly legacy…
I am not giving a full length description, for that you can read the 2nd chapter of “The Resolution for Men”
The question is though which do you want to be as a man… The one with no hope, or the one that gives a hope…

I resolve to give everything to God
God bless… Remember… Choose Life
