A resolution is something we want to do in a certain time… Many see a resolution as something to be quit…
New Years resolution…

Now of these I have seen a few, yet I will not make any…
Funny part is, in many cases these are just something you wanted to do this year, but you forget by the start of next month…
Never written down, or noted…. Just something you wish, and hope it comes to fulfillment…

How about this? I am not going to stand on this false standing about resolutions…
YET, I AM GOING TO GO AND DEFY THIS EXPECTATION AND START ON A JOURNEY WITH THIS…
I resolve to be the man God made me…
AND I resolve to give everything to God
Here is “THE RESOLUTION“
- I DO solemnly resolve before God to take full responsibility for myself, my wife, and my children.
- I WILL love them, protect them, serve them, and teach them the Word of God as the spiritual leader of my home.
- I WILL be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her, and be willing to lay down my life for her as Jesus Christ did for me.
- I WILL bless my children and teach them to love God with all of their hearts, all of their minds, and all of their strength.
- I WILL train them to honor authority and live responsibly.
- I WILL confront evil, pursue justice, and love mercy.
- I WILL pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect, and compassion.
- I WILL work diligently to provide for the needs of my family.
- I WILL forgive those who have wronged me and reconcile with those I have wronged.
- I WILL learn from my mistakes, repent of my sins, and walk with integrity as a man answerable to God.
- I WILL seek to honor God, be faithful to His church, obey His Word, and do His will.
- I WILL courageously work with the strength God provides to fulfill this resolution for the rest of my life and for His glory.
As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Joshua 24:15 NKJV)
This I will do and choose to do everyday from today on…
Why do I have this resolution?
I resolve to this. not because I have to… but because I choose to…
I want to be a Godly husband to my wife...
I want to be a Godly father to my children…
I will be a man who puts God first….
I want to be a spiritual leader… with rock solid standards…
I AM NOT JUST TAKING THIS UP FOR A WHILE THEN FORGET IT… BUT I TAKE THIS UP AS A DAILY DECISION… AND I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO BE HARD… YET I WILL TAKE IT UP FOR THE BETTERING OF MY LIFE FIRST, THEN THOSE AROUND ME…
I resolve to Give everything I have to God…
I want to request that you pray for me… This is a tough journey… And I am already in my second week, and it becomes tougher daily…
