THIS WILL SERVE AS MY INTRODUCTION OF TWO NEW SERIES TO MY BLOG…
Why?
Here is why… A few weeks ago I asked God to start preparing me for my wife… The result: I have been given my greatest challenge as of yet… To become the man God created me to be and to learn to love the way God designed it to be… I am not taking this lightly… And I have an idea of what to expect… Yet this is going to be my toughest challenge yet… I am asking those who want to pray for me, please pray for my protection and strength to finish this and see it through to the end… I am already seeing what this decision has done to me… It is making everything I was rebel to remain who I was and it hits with various forms of pain…
There is also the thing where I am being prepared for my ministry… A few years ago, God did say that I will start raising up young men to become men who are Godly and stand boldly in what God has made them to be…
When?
This will take place in the next 2-3 months, if God permits… And I will hopefully never be this person I am today…
What?
What God told me to do, was to read two books… Rather TWO SIMULTANEOUS CHALLENGES.
First:

Second:

Lastly:
I will start pursuing God like I never did before… Finding His purpose for my life and resolving it to be set in stone… I will seek to please only God… Not man… Not at all…
Who?
This will be done by me… I am not yet married… So The Love Dare will prepare me for exactly how I will treat my wife one day… This seems futile, due to most things in The Love Dare is for your spouse… Yet this will teach me more than just how to treat my spouse… I have done a Authentic Love blog series a while ago… This will deepen that understanding of what love is… And how to implement it… My life will never be the same… I will learn what God has put in me… And what God has installed for me on my journey ahead…
Then, I am a 25 year old “man” (according to society)… I have no real training and no real idea on how to raise up young men… All I know is… The Resolution for Men will not be taken lightly… I want to get to the point where I resolve to not hide anymore from who I am, but to become who God made me to be.. I want to say as Joshua did:
And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15 ESV)
I want this to be unequivocally (having no doubt, have it written in stone) say that :
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
I am not just saying this anymore… I am pursuing this.
How?
LOVE DARE
I will be going though THE LOVE DARE book… Day by day… (For 40 days)
My posts on this will have the following:
- Scripture (one core scripture, and others to back it up)
- What I learned…
- How I did implement it…
- How it will help me serve my wife better…
- Reflection of the day
- And any prayer requests that might come up related to this journey…
I will dare to Love… This will also become my journal for the time to come.

The Resolution
I will be going though THE RESOLUTION FOR MEN book… Day by day…
My posts on this will have the following:
- Scripture (one core scripture, and others to back it up)
- What I will resolve in that day…(There might be more than one post on a single resolve)
- What I learned…
- How I will implement it…
- Reflection of the day
- And any prayer requests that might come up related to this journey…
I want to resolve to let everything I am and have belong to Christ and will be used in such a manner. This will also become my journal for the time to come….
The image below shows how The Resolution is for me… (As in the movie Courageous)
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

God bless… I look forward to this journey… And I know it is going to be tough… I thank everyone who will be following this… And I thank every person who is praying for me…
You are God’s special people.. You are amazing
