So lately I was suspected of not submitting to my leadership…
HERE IS MY SIDE OF THE STORY
I believe in biblical authority…
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. (Romans 13:1 ESV)
My National government is put there by God, so is the police, the teachers and lecturers at my school and university…
Now in my church God put leaders to train people…
All these I will listen to and be subject to…
IF I AM NOT PART OF SOMETHING, THEY NEVER HAD ANY FORM OF AUTHORITY OVER ME…
My boss has… I work for him… An organization does not, if I do not agree to being a part of it…
NOW HERE IS A THOUGHT:
If I am not serving at a place, Am I still subject to rule from them?
If so then it mean I should rather die, due to having to please every “SO-CALLED LEADER” in all they demand…
If I am forced to serve at a place by their leaders, Am I under their rule?
OR ARE THEY JUST DICTATORS?
If I am no longer serving at a place, Should I still be submitting to their rule…
If so, am I still under the rule of my pre-school teachers or babysitter?
LASTLY:
If leadership is not subject to God, should they still be served? In various places it is illegal to serve God, should they then NOT serve God because their leaders said it?
I WILL NOT EVER SUBMIT TO THE RULE OF ANY RULER WHO THINKS THAT THEY ARE GOD… And when a ruler starts to rebel against God, I back out and go to my original AUTHORITY…
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen (Jude 1:24-25 NASB)
REMEMBER:
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant. (Matthew 20:26 NIV)
My only authority will be put their by Christ… If someone wants to steal the lime-light, I will not follow him, nor submit, because their focus is not on the things of God… But I will submit to any form of authority WHICH IS PLACED BY GOD… On outreach I will serve, FIRST GOD, then the leader, and I will submit, even if I know his decision will backfire…
I will though only listen to God in regard to authority… If God says I must submit I will, if otherwise, I will leave their shadow and GO TO THE SHADOW OF CHRIST
