Well in the past I talked a lot about love… Now to bring in the final statement to this…
Love without any emotional commitment, I cannot see as Love
Yeah I just made a statement which would anger some pastors globally… Firstly, everyone knows love is a choice, would most likely be the first reaction I get… Secondly, many might even go to do not rely on your emotions, they are fraudulent… And will most likely send you down the wrong path…
YET I STAND BY WHAT I HAVE SAID:
Love without any emotional commitment, I cannot see as Love
Love in all essence is spelled G – I – V – E… Yes, you heard me…
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)
Note what is said in John 3:16 above… God loves those who believe… It is stated above… However… Here is the thing that bothered me…
How did He prove His LOVE? HE GAVE HIS SON TO DIE ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS…
Well, when last did you choose to love someone with no emotional commitment? Would you have given anything to that person, you chose to love? Even your life? I am sure I would not…
Sorry to say… Those I care for, I would die for… I would take a bullet for each person whom I really care for… Those I do not really know, I am fairly certain that I would not just take a bullet for them…
I am sure that if God made us in HIS image (Gen 1:26), then He also wouldn’t do anything for someone He doesn’t know… An important note to make here, He knows us very intimately… Even if we choose not to follow him…
Now many would come in with the theory of not everyone having a relationship with Him… meaning that He doesn’t know everyone, why then let His Son die?
I am convinced of two things in life…
- NO CREATOR DOESN’T KNOW OR UNDERSTAND HIS OWN CREATION.
- THUS GOD, BEING THE GREATEST ARTIST(CREATOR) OF ALL TIME, KNOWS EVERYONE, FOR HE MADE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING…
Well you my be think I am trying to grab on to straws, but I really do not believe that is the case…
In the beginning was Eden, which was defined as paradise… Meaning – IT WAS PERFECT… No flaws… No death… No sickness… No evil…
Then why do we worry… WE, THE CREATED WANTED TO BE MORE, BECAUSE Lucifer (also better known as satan) wanted to be more, and then lied to us… Thus we fell… Fathers don’t let their children die for no reason, THEY PUT UP A FIGHT…. We, also being seen as brothers and sisters of Jesus, are children of God AND He will fight for us… Every second of the day… He wants to talk to us… He craves relationship with us, that is what He always wanted… And always will seek for…
Okay, this where I am going to make a statement… No relationship worth fighting for, will ever be without an emotional connection…
A relationship with no emotional connection is like friends with benefits…
“We are just friends, but hey lets have casual sex and do not look back at all thinking of this”
This to me is just wrong, and I do not care what people think about it…
God bless… Please check your intentions before messing around with Love… REAL LOVE DOESN’T DESTROY SOMEONE… IT CARES FOR SOMEONE.
