Statistics show we are messed up so badly that they believe we are a GODLESS GENERATION… WHY???
Yes I believe this… Not by listening to stats, but by how we treat one another… We walk over those WE SEE as inferior, and then when that person just leaves we ask “WHY DO YOU LEAVE?”
We expect our victims to remain our victims, but we do not want to be the victims of others?
This reminds me of a story in the Bible… It is the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant… Why does this give me the idea of our generation?
“Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, ‘Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?’ Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt. At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go. But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded. His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back. But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened. Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.’ ” (Matt 18:21-35 NIV)

Why do we always want to be treated with respect, but not treat others with that same respect… Yes, you guessed it…. I AM SICK AND TIRED ON HOW OUR GENERATION TREATS PEOPLE… With that, if I take a look at stats I see a huge problem. Addictions are higher, divorce is higher, hate is higher,… should I go on??? Just take a look at the next video’s…

The worst part is I am not even shocked at this… I can see it… DAILY…
Here is the question: Why do we take away the rights of others?

We look at people and start judging immediately just because they are different… We push people away, just because we are afraid they will push us away later… Now, lets think this through… What would WE do if someone did it to US? Yes, it hurt a lot… But we will have to be better, to show those around us how to be better. The biggest thing I saw is that hurt people, go to hurt other people… Not the people who hurt them…
Now maybe …

We will treat people differently? How about today??? God created us all equal, in HIS image…. He died for us all…. He gives rain to us all, sun, shade… EVERYTHING IS FOR EVERYONE AND WE WANT IT ALL FOR OURSELVES… Isn’t this being selfish and prideful?

Now I am asking the question, WOULD WE WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD, BY BEING THE SAME AT THE WORLD?
“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” (Romans 12:1-2 The Message)
What if we start being the difference we want to see in the world? What if we started to accept those we see as unacceptable? What if we LOVE PEOPLE AUTHENTICALLY?
God bless, remember… we are the change we want to see in the world…
You were made to be truly amazing.
