It’s been tough…
I know we all go through stages where we grow. However I really went through a tough weekend… It literally felt like everyone was judging me and keeping my past against me… but why???
I started to think about something in this regard… Why is there so many comparisons to plants in the Bible? Jesus said that we are the branches and He is the vine (John 15:5)… Then then fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)(where fruit should normally grow on trees or plants).
But what if all of this has to do with something more?
My theory on this is that we are more like plants and trees than we actually might think… What if we should grow to bare fruit? What if we need to be pruned in some cases (NO I AM NOT SAYING JUDGED)?
How do we grow?
I do believe in righteous council… and I do not mind it, however everyone should be approached and actually be spoken to… Not judged…
For us to get to a full sized tree, we need to be pruned in the correct way… And guided to grow correctly… If a branch is broken it will never grow the way it should have grown.
I am not saying pruning will not be hard, but handled correctly, would be a good pain that causes growth and not a bad pain that would destroy… So I would like to ask that everyone think before they say something and if someone does something that bothers you, talk to them, do not just lie and act like nothing is wrong. Talk to the person, when the person finds out later it will destroy them instead of help them.
